Why pay $3 for filtered water in our classroom?
1. It's good to drink water - your body loves it.
2. It's better for you than anything which is sweetened.
3. It's refreshing on a hot day.
4. You'll have access to it every school day at break, lunch, and after school.
5. Once you pay, you can drink all you want.
6. It's much cheaper than buying bottles at the vending machine - $3 covers the whole year!
7. When you reuse a bottle, you're being an activist in cutting down on waste.
8. You can buy the Camelbak bottle pictured here from me for $7. That's $5 cheaper than anywhere else. For a total of $10, you're set for the whole year!

And, as if that wasn't enough, here's a picture of how many plastic bottles get thrown away in the U.S. every 5 minutes, 24/7. Ugh.
That's two million bottles. That's an astonishing waste. But you, of course, are not going to be part of THAT problem - you're going to reuse your bottles!
